Every 47 minutes a child experiences abuse and/or neglect in Colorado.
Many of these children will be removed from their homes and families.
Throughout it all, there is one person who offers stability and hope. A
CASA Volunteer fulfills society’s most fundamental obligation by
advocating for a child’s right to be safe and treated with dignity and
Our promise is to be the voice of the youth and children we serve by
being the eyes and ears of the court. In a typical year, more than
1,100 children in Denver County go through the court system because
their family is in crisis. Sometimes these children are able to live at
home with their parents. More often, however, these children wind up in
the care of a family member, foster home, or Residential Care Facility.
